DESCRIPTION:** Check out the video from last year below **\n\n\n\nNow in our 6th year\, the Senior Care Hero Awards  celebrates the unsung heroes in the senior industry - from seniors to veterans\, physicians to caregivers\, to volunteers and family with a heart for seniors.\n\n \n\nThe awards Gala will be held at the Grove of Anaheim\, on Saturday\, October 15th at 6:00pm.\n\n\n\nLast year's event drew 700 guests\, whose generosity helped raise over $130\,000\, providing thousands of meals and loving contact to at-risk seniors\, and received coverage from radio\, cable TV\, KTLA\, print media such as the OC Register\, Sunset magazine Senior Reporter\, Newport Beach Life Style\, and many social media venues.\n\n\n\nAll proceeds will benefit SeniorServ's Meals on Wheels program and other supportive services for at-risk seniors. We are the largest non-profit Meals on Wheels and senior nutrition provider in Orange County. Our services include case management and in-home services\, Adult Day Health Care programs and Care Management services to reduce hospital admissions and readmissions. We want our community to share our vision of a world that honors people throughout life and engage in our mission to nourish the wellness\, purpose\, and dignity of seniors and their families.\n\n\n\nThe public is invited to cheer on their champion heroes by nominating and voting online for the senior care professionals and senior supporters of their choice.
