Join Autism Speaks, the world’s leading autism science and advocacy organization, for Autism Speaks Walk Orange County 2016 on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at Angel Stadium. Thousands of families, service providers and advocates will walk to raise funds and awareness to help change the future for those who struggle with autism spectrum disorder. This fun-filled, family friendly event will feature kid-friendly activities, live performances and an Autism Resource Fair with over 40 community vendors. ABC7 Eyewitness News anchor Phillip Palmer will co-host the Walk along with Mark Shaffer from KWAVE 107.9 FM. Registration begins at 9:00 am, opening ceremonies begin at 10:00 am and the 3.1 mile rolling start walk begins at 10:30 am. Registration is FREE. Walkers must register online at autismspeakswalk.org/orangecounty or on Walk Day at the registration tent. All walkers raising $150 or more will receive a commemorative T-shirt on Walk Day. Walkers who raise $1,000 or more are eligible for the Grand Club, created to give extra recognition and VIP treatment on Walk Day to top walkers.
