Dance Instructor

  • Duties/Responsibilities: Provide a structured class teaching students in variety of dances such as a hip hop, ballet, tap, jazz, hula, break dancing, etc.; create lesson plans for each class as well as choreograph routines for performances and events; coordination of registration of participants; assist in the responsibility for the success of the Performing Arts program including: fundraising, special events, and marketing; insure the safety of all participants at all times
  • Qualifications: Must be at least 16 years of age. Experience working with children (paid or volunteer) preferred, but not required; Be CPR/First Aid Certified within the first 30 days of employment and keep current for condition of continued employment.
  • Hours: Part-Time/Non-Exempt position. Must be available Monday to Friday 4:00pm to 8:00pm; Saturday 9:00am to 1:00pm; Sunday 11:00am-1:00 pm.
  • Wage: $14.00 per hour
  • Worksite: Anaheim Downtown Youth Center, West Anaheim Youth Center, and Stanton Central Park.
