About Us

Lisa Fortenbaugh is the owner and CEO of Platinum HR Consulting Group. After two decades managing Human Resources for small to large organizations, both public and private, she realized there was a large gap that small businesses were facing. They needed access to the same HR expertise that large corporations had. Without HR expertise, a small business would struggle to grow, hire the right employees, manage employees correctly and they face lawsuits due to non compliance. Lisa knew she wanted to create a company that could offer HR solutions specifically to small businesses. From there, Platinum HR Consulting Group was launched!

The team at Platinum HR delivers exceptional Human Resources consulting that gives small businesses several strategic advantages. Our goal is to engage with each business as a strategic HR partner by asking the right questions, taking time to really understand a business, and implementing processes and procedures that increase productivity, employee satisfaction, and profitability.

Lisa holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Chapman University, a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from California State University Fullerton and maintains an SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) Certification from the Society for Human Resource Management.
